Most of the year, we call ‘em “Massholes.” During baseball season, we call you our team.

I don’t understand the complex, centuries-old tension between Maine and Massachusetts, but I learned quickly that the Red Sox are “ours” — and I cheered through all 6 World Series games.

(Confession: I’m not enough of a fan to know what the ‘02 and ‘04 are about.)
